When Service Plus encountered these problems in all projects in the past, we came to the decision to find and develop a solution for it. Lead by the target to make the infrastructure more simple and give the retailer the highest possible independence from the solution and hardware manufacturer, Service Plus developed the Retail Integration Platform (Bus) “Octopus”.

On top of that we have a lot of different manufacturers for the same solutions (e.g. retail scales) in one environment.

This problematical situation is almost not maintainable, data is not consistent and sometimes the needed data is even missing.
